Battery Clock Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 2, 2026

This privacy policy applies to Battery Clock, a macOS menu bar app that shows your Mac's battery status. Your privacy matters, and the app is built to collect nothing.

Data Collection

Battery Clock does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information. There are no accounts, no analytics, no tracking, and no advertising.

On-Device Processing

The app reads battery information (charge level, time remaining, power source) from macOS to display it in the menu bar and widget. This information is processed entirely on your Mac and never leaves it.

Preferences

App settings are saved locally on your Mac using standard system storage. They are not sent anywhere.

Notifications

If you allow notifications, they are generated locally on your Mac. No data is sent to any server.

Network Access

Battery Clock does not connect to the internet.

Third Parties

No data is shared with third parties. Purchases, downloads, and ratings are handled by Apple's App Store and are subject to Apple's Privacy Policy.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
